The 8th edition of the Algarve Bike Challenge have a new date confirmed already for 2020. The most famous MTB stage race of Portugal will take place in February from 7th to 9th, one month earlier than the regular date of the previous editions.

“2019 was probably the best edition ever of the Algarve Bike Challenge. The weather was just perfect with average temperatures around 25º. More then 900 rider attended this challenge and the environment was just fantastic. So we will do our very best to overcome it on 2020” says Marco Fernandes the mentor and head responsible of the Algarve Bike Challenge.

Considering that the race will take place in the early season, there will be a special attention with the course design in order keep the spectacularity but avoiding to be too hard for the riders whom are stating the season. As soon as the course is totally defined it will be announced on the race official website.
